When I started on this collaboration project with Yamanami I went straight to my street photography collection and snagged one of my favorites from the Daikanyama district in Tokyo, Japan. The design features a still-life as an oversized and centered print on the front with the Yamanami logo at the lower right corner, produced on a bright white long sleeve tee. This one is only available as a limited run and only through the Yamanami website - link in my bio - dropping Tuesday, January 23, 2024. I hope you’ll enjoy my latest collaboration piece; I’m quite thrilled to offer my photography on clothing once again, it’s been a minute! 

The story behind the photograph comes from a sunny midday walk to the bookstore in the quiet Daikanyama neighborhood and as we made our way through a quiet passageway between streets, the walls narrowed against the light at the same moment we came up behind a well-fashioned woman behind a parasol, so I snapped one image. Not a planned photograph at all – this one was simple coincidence on an amble with my girlfriend, and noticed this great composition- building lines, soft light, a little mystery -  right in the moment it happened, fall 2023. I’m delighted that Yamanami saw this photograph as a fit for this latest collaboration and grateful for the opportunity.
